A guide to November events in Toronto

November is a busy month in the city. Remembrance Day, the Santa Claus Parade, the Royal Winter Fair, and the One of a Kind Christmas Show and Sale are just a few of the special events on in Toronto during November 2018. Here's your guide to what's going and when.

November 1 to November 8, 2018
Holocaust Education Week
The Holocaust Centre of Toronto provides listings of the many events going on during the week, including speakers, film screenings, art exhibits, plus special programming for students and educators.

November 2 to November 11, 2018
The Royal Agricultural Winter Fair
Visit Exhibition Place this November to take in the agricultural displays, over 2000 agricultural competitions, family activities, cooking demos, wine and apple competition and of course, the equestrian show.

November 8 to Sunday November 16, 2018
The Toronto Reel Asian International Film Festival
Enjoy numerous features and short films highlighting contemporary Asian cinema and work from the Asian diaspora at Canada's largest Asian film festival. Founded in 1997, the festival features works  by East, South and Southeast Asian artists in Canada, the U.S., Asia and all over the world. 

November 14 to November 17, 2018
Regent Park Film Festival
Regent Park Film Festival is Toronto’s longest running free community film festival showcasing local and international independent works aimed at breaking stereotypes and sharing stories from all walks of life.

Remembrance Day Ceremonies
Make sure you're sporting your poppy and take time on November 11 to honour all those served, including the many who gave their lives.

November 16 to November 18, 2018
The BabyTime Show
Parents of babies and toddlers or prenatal parents can check out products and services, listen to speakers, and even take their little ones to enjoy kid-friendly entertainment and activities at the International Centre.

November 9 to November 11, 2018
Whole Life Expo
At the Metro Toronto Convention Centre exhibitors and speakers will be focusing on "natural health & green living". In the past, zones have included organic foods, healthy pet resources, health services, personal growth, gifts and more. Expect over 200 exhibitors and 80+ speakers from across North America and beyond.

November 13 to November 16, 2018
Credit Education Week Canada
Register in advance for Monday's free kick-off event, buy tickets to Wednesday's gala dinner or just use the online tools to educate yourself on money matters.

November 22 to November 25, 2018
The Gourmet Food and Wine Expo
Foodies take note: You can visit the Metro Toronto Convention Centre this November to taste, buy and learn about wine, cheese and other gourmet foods.

November 24, 2018
Cavalcade of Lights at Nathan Phillips Square
Enjoy the lighting of Toronto's official Christmas tree as well as live music by some of Canada's best artists, a fireworks display and skating parties - all for free.

November 18, 2018
The Santa Claus Parade
Santa Claus returns to the streets of Toronto, bringing a bit of early Christmas cheer with him. The parade starts at 12:30 p.m. at Christie Pits and ends its route at St. Lawrence Market. Remember to bundle up and come early to get a good spot to see Santa.

November 22 - December 2, 2018
One of a Kind Christmas Show and Sale
Visit the Enercare Centre at Exhibition Place to browse a huge selection of unique gift and decorating ideas created and handmade by Canadian artists and craftspeople. This is a great spot to get some serious holiday shopping done.

November 15 to December 23, 2017 
Toronto Christmas Market 
Feel the magic of the holiday season at Toronto's annual European-inspired Christmas Market happening at the Distillery District. Shop homemade crafts, visit Santa's house, sip a hot toddie in a beer garden and enjoy live entertainment.
